How to schedule paratransit rides to 8301 W Belmont, River Grove

Hanging Gardens Banquets is located in City area:  Zone 3

People traveling within city or from PCIL will schedule rides that depend on Zone of origin and may/may not involve transfer.  Timing of return rides should not be issue because PACE/CTA carriers provide 24/7 services.

People traveling from suburbs MUST use PACE Transfer points.  Timing may very well be a problem for the return ride.

          Example:  North Suburban PACE would use Rosemont Trans Pt

                             South Suburban PACE would use McNeil Hospital Trans Pt 

When scheduling rides involving transfer points call to make the 2^nd ride FIRST and tell them you are traveling from point of origin to 8301 W Belmont, River Grove, and need to arrive at 6 pm and to coordinate rides at the transfer point.  The scheduler will then assist with determining the transfer point and times to intersect.  Then call the 1^st ride and tell them you are transferring and need assistance scheduling your ride to intersect with the 2^nd ride. 

Now, be certain to give your carrier the time of travel and be sure that there is service provided at the times you are traveling in the suburbs.  Some areas will not have transportation after 8 p.m.  If you encounter problems, let us know so we will be able to tell others. 

Be certain to ask scheduler to repeat the rides and transfer points as well as anticipated wait times.  As always, get the name of the scheduler and mark down the time you scheduled your rides.   

On Friday, confirm your rides before starting out.  Write down your rides, their times, carrier, and carrier contact numbers.  Carry these with you when you travel.
